At Victory Law and Mediation, we want our clients to dedicate their time, effort and money to the resolution of their issues. This should be done through mediation and negotiation. Mediation provides couples with a forum to discuss concerns and objectives regarding family assets, support and parenting time, and reach mutually beneficial resolutions. For those families where mediation is no longer an option, our legal team guides individuals through a process of intensive negotiation to achieve a mutually satisfactory settlement of the issues. Should I hire a Lawyer?
 A family lawyer is either a tool or craftsman; both are useful and necessary.A lawyer, as a tool, can start or defend your Claim and execute the steps required by the Provincial and Supreme Courts. He or she can “protect your rights”. A lawyer who is a craftsman will create a new framework for your family and facilitate the rebuilding and restructuring of your new life.

 A good mediator builds bridges between parties torn apart by emotional torrents. We encourage all families to begin the restructuring process with rational and guided discussion -- facilitated by a trained mediator. Even couples experiencing a moderately high degree of conflict can benefit from mediation.

 Congratulations - you have successfully resolved your own issues surrounding asset division, child and spousal support, and parenting time, and you have done it without the grief and expense of using the Courts. Victory Law and Mediation can help you by finalizing the arrangements by preparing a Separation Agreement, Notarized Travel Authorizations, and any other documents required. We can further prepare and file your Divorce application in the Supreme Court of B.C. |
